Community Benefactors

TAM is looking for Community benefactors to help us expand our capacity and change individual lives. During 2008, we added two part-time positions – a case manager and a case manager assistant. Last year, we also opened a Day Center. These positions, along with the Day Center, helped us to improve the quality of service we provide, as well as helps us to serve more people. Our goal for 2009, is to obtain funding so that we will be able to purchase a permanent facility that can be used for our Day Center. We also need funding for emergency needs like temporary housing, food, clothes and medical assistance. Our goal is to raise an additional $200,000 this year on top of our existing operating budget to employ, house, educate and provide opportunities for disadvantaged individuals.

Charitable donations to TAM help us achieve these goals and help improve the safety of our streets while reducing homelessness. One-time gifts are welcome and we offer other options for people who would like to contribute on a continual basis i.e., weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.

All donations are tax deductible.

  • $2,400 or just $200 per month helps provide two months of housing, case management and support services for someone reentering the community.
  • $1,800 ($150 per month) will fund life altering case management services for 10 people over four months.
  • $1,200 ($100 per month) will provide two months of food, clothing, transportation and other urgent needs for someone transitioning to the community after prison.

Please consider a pledge to TAM today. With just 100 benefactors giving at these levels, we can meet our 2009 goals and ensure that disadvantaged people have a place to turn to for help.
